Daleth: God’s Word is our Strength

Read Psalm 119:25-32

Today’s Truth

Even when the psalmist is weary with sorrow, he finds strength, peace, and comfort in the word of God. God’s words bring life to the soul and God grants deeper understanding to those who ask.

Discussion Questions

When was the last time someone encouraged you in a way that changed your perspective on a situation?
What do you need to hear from God that would have that same effect? Ask Him to speak to you as you meditate on His words today.

Application

As you read God’s word, may you find strength where you are weary, wisdom to avoid Satan’s traps, and the peace that comes from knowing God is for you. Ask God to broaden your understanding and teach you His ways.
