Missions

"19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
-Matthew 28:19-20

Local Missions & Outreach

We believe reaching out into our community is a necessary part of a church and being a follower of Christ.  Some of the ways we are currently trying to reach out are through our Food Pantry, partnering with schools, offering a recovery program on Wednesday nights, and partnering with GracePlace Properties.

CLAY (Caring Loving All Youth)

We partner with CLAY and two of our schools, Central Elementary and PACE High School, to offer student leadership classes each school year.  Volunteers teach a leadership class once a week, every other week.  We also partner with these schools to provide any needs they may have, and cook meals for their teachers and staff to show our appreciation.

Re:Generation

Re:gen is our recovery program that meets on Wednesday nights at 7pm in the Centre.  The program is not just for addicts, but for all of us who have sin in our lives.  It is a discipleship program for anyone to walk through in order to grow in one's faith.  Every Wednesday night, there is a large group worship time with testimonies, and then there is a time for smaller gender-specific groups.

GracePlace Properties

GPP is a transitional program for those coming out of prison.  Our church has been with this ministry since it kicked off in 2011 and it is located in apartments right here in Duncanville.  Participants commit to spiritual formation and discipleship, life skills training, recovery, and community and personal development.  Our church provides volunteers to help mentor, helps support their needs, and opens our doors for the participants to become a part of our church family.

Imagine what your life would be like if you had no access to God’s Word, or if the only Bible available to you was written in a foreign language. That situation – so far from our own experience – is reality for about a billion people today. As a church, we are helping to change that through our support of missionaries who serve with Pioneer Bible Translators. As you give to our Missions Fund, YOU are placing God’s Word into the hands of Bibleless people so it can change their hearts and transform their lives.

Please help us continue to support our missionaries by giving to our Missions Fund. Our 2021 Pledge is to raise $64,000. Give online, text to give, or give by mail. Select "Missions" as the fund you want to give to. Thank you!
