Giving at GracePlace
We encourage all of those who are part of our church family to give—not out of obligation but out of a spirit of worship. Your gifts allow God's work to be done and lives to be changed in our church family, in our community, and in the world around us. No gift is too small, and every gift makes an impact.
Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. Hebrews 13:16

missions and rivers of compassion
Give to Local & Global Missions
We are supporting various missionaries around the world, but need your help to do so! Our missions giving is above and beyond one's tithe, or regular giving, and can be done by designating your donation to go to "missions". Your gifts have blessed missionaries in Nicaragua, Cambodia, Dry Bones Denver, with Pioneer Bible Translators, and many more. In addition, we have a Rivers of Compassion (ROC) fund that supports local needs, such as our Food Pantry, families hit hard by a natural disaster, and more. You can give to this fund by designating "ROC" on your giving. Take a look at one of the places your donations impact in this video.
Giving FAQs
Why We Give
As a church, we believe that we are called to respond to the generosity of the gospel by giving faithfully to the progress of the gospel in our community and world. Biblical generosity is not about meeting budget needs. It is about a rich and trusting relationship with a living God. We express our faith and love to Him by honoring Him as the source of everything we have. Scriptural giving is performed with regularity, from the first portion of all we are given, as a proportion of our income, cheerfully, and without pressure or manipulation.
What is Tithing?
Tithing is an act of worship that expresses our gratitude, faith, and love for others, as well as represents us putting God first in our lives. A tithe is 10% of your income given specifically to your local church. (Fun fact: The word tithe literally means tenth in Hebrew.) Our tithes help us keep the church lights on, minister and disciple the church family, and meet the needs in our community, as well as help missionaries serving in different places in the world.
