God is With Us

Read Zephaniah 3:17
Today’s Truth

Wherever you’re sitting, driving, walking, running, whatever you’re doing right now, you are in Jesus. The Lord your God is in your midst. He is with you.  He is your savior and He is mighty, and He will rejoice over you with gladness.

Discussion Question
  1. How do you feel when you consider that God sings over you? What does that truth do for your heart?
  2. Jesus reminds us that he will be with us always. How has Jesus been with you in life’s tough times?
  3. Have you ever considered how much God loves you? Take a moment and do that. Write three phrases of gratitude for God’s love for you.
Life Application

Amidst the restlessness of your heart, amidst the anxiousness of your mind, be quieted in this moment. Rest in His love. He loves you. He’s holding you in His hand. He will exult over you with loud singing, not just singing. And that in and of itself is quite the picture. God exulting over you, His people, with singing.
