When instability and uncertainty swirl like a tornado, we remain anchored in a place of peace. How grateful we are for the Lord’s words today!

No matter what’s happening around us, remember, the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead is at work in us.

Discussion Questions

Pray the following: “Lord, show me where I’m allowing myself to be derailed by circumstances rather than faithfully trusting you.” How do you feel writing that prayer?
How do you daily trust that God meets you when you are desperate?

Application

Today, as you read, may you remain hopeful while desperate. May you cry to the Lord, knowing He is always near, and wait for beauty to unfold from the chaos in His time.
