2 Samuel 6 recounts a powerful moment in Israel’s history when King David successfully brings the Ark of the Covenant into Jerusalem. He leads the procession with excitement, dancing before the Lord in a linen ephod, giving glory to God with all his might.

David, as king, could have led the people with pomp and circumstance, but instead, he humbles himself, dancing and rejoicing before God.
