Spreading the Good News

Romans 10:14-17

"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?So, faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ”

Today’s Truth:

The Church has a mission to reach out to non-believing neighbors and begin to have spiritual conversations in a complex world.

Discussion Questions:
  1. Are you engaging in gospel conversations with people in your life? Why or why not?
  2. Why should the complexity of our world cause us to engage in conversations that point people to Christ not only as Savior but as Lord? How does Christ being Lord keep us from becoming despondent in a difficult world?
  3. Who in your life can you have a gospel-centered conversation? Is there anything that would keep you from doing that? Explain.
