The Lord Is On His Throne

Psalm 11:3-4

‘When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?’ The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them.’

Today’s Truth:

God is on his throne and nothing escapes his notice.

Discussion Questions:

Is God surprised by anything we find ourselves currently enduring? If he is not surprised, why do we spend so much time worrying about things that are coming our way?
Does God’s sovereignty make you hopeful and fearless even in the midst of a confusing time? Explain.
Why is hope so important for the believer? Are you a hopeful person? Explain.
