The Son of Righteousness

Read Malachi 4:2
Today’s Truth

And the first verse in this chapter is a sobering verse, talks about how the day is coming, burning like an oven, when all the arrogant and evil doers will be stubble. That verse says that day that is coming shall set them ablaze, says the Lord of hosts, that will leave them neither root nor branch. It’s a picture of judgment coming upon all those who have sinned against God and not trusted in the salvation of God. 

Discussion Questions
  1. How has the sun of righteousness brought healing to you?
  2. Does God’s judgment frighten you? Why or why not?
  3. Believers will one day find their total healing in Jesus. What are you looking forward to when Christ totally heals you?
Life Application

All who turn from sin and trust in Christ now know Jesus as their righteousness before God. We anticipate the day when we will fully and finally experience healing in His wings.
