To Believe or Not to Believe-That is the Question

Psalm 110

The LORD says to my Lord:
    “Sit at my right hand,
until I make your enemies your footstool.”

 The LORD sends forth from Zion
    your mighty scepter.
    Rule in the midst of your enemies!
 Your people will offer themselves freely
    on the day of your power,
    in holy garments;
from the womb of the morning,
    the dew of your youth will be yours.
 The LORD has sworn
    and will not change his mind,
“You are a priest forever
    after the order of Melchizedek.”

 The Lord is at your right hand;
    he will shatter kings on the day of his wrath.
 He will execute judgment among the nations,
    filling them with corpses;
he will shatter chiefs
    over the wide earth.
 He will drink from the brook by the way;
    therefore he will lift up his head.

Today’s Truth

Christ is seated at the right hand of God in a place of honor and power. He wants us to recognize His authority and dominion over our lives and live accordingly. Those who don’t believe will be labeled an enemy of God. Your position now determines your position later.

Discussion Questions
  1. Have you considered Christ’s position in your life? Have you made Him Lord of all that you have?
  2. In what ways have you been an enemy of God? What will you do to change that today?
  3. Are you sharing your faith with others who need to know the love and grace of Christ? If not, what is keeping you from it?
