Ultimate Affection for the Lord

Read Jeremiah 51:15-19
Today’s Truth

Let’s pray this prayer as today’s truth... God, we pray that you would be the source of our ultimate affection, that we would love you with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and that you would be the source of our ultimate trust. We would trust in you with all of our heart and not lean on our own understanding. We are stupid and without knowledge. Help us not to lean on our own understanding.

  1. What idols have you allowed to creep into your life?
  2. How have those idols impeded your understanding of the true God?
  3. How does this passage call you to see God?
Life Application

Let us trust in God and not the idols of our own making.
