God Gives Us a New Song

Psalm 150

Praise the LORD!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heavens!
2  Praise him for his mighty deeds;
    praise him according to his excellent greatness!

3  Praise him with trumpet sound;
    praise him with lute and harp!
4  Praise him with tambourine and dance;
    praise him with strings and pipe!
5  Praise him with sounding cymbals;
    praise him with loud clashing cymbals!
6  Let everything that has breath praise the LORD!
Praise the LORD!

Today’s Truth

God desires our relationship and praise. He sees our hearts and knows us. We please Him by demonstrating that we trust and obey Him consistently. Our actions divulge who we are. His Spirit guides us as we praise Him with actions that please Him.

Discussion Questions

Describe how you lovingly praised God yesterday. Prayerfully find ways to demonstrate how important God is to you. We choose how we act.
Do we worship ourselves through worldly pursuits?
Or do we give praise to the one true God who loves us beyond our understanding?
