Today’s Truth

Christ is our refuge where burdened and guilty sinners can find rest. There is abounding grace found in the atoning work of His death on the cross.

Discussion Questions
  1. If you won't turn to Jesus for refuge, to whom or to what are you going to turn?
  2. Maybe you aren't seeking to put your burdens and sins upon anything but yourself, and don't feel the need to share or seek rest. What's keeping you from trusting that Jesus is sovereign and trustworthy? Are you having trouble believing that Jesus is somehow able or willing to take on the magnitude of your sin? Why?
  3. Trusting in anything can take steps. Since Jesus has already taken great measures to show that He wants to be with us, what are some small ways we can show that we trust Him with our lives?
