God Fights for His People: The battle against the Amorite kings shows that ultimate victory comes from God. He sent hailstones that killed more enemies than Israel’s swords and caused the sun to stand still to prolong the day. This miraculous intervention reminds us that God fights for His people.
Bold Prayers Honor God: Joshua prayed an audacious prayer:“Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.” (Joshua 10:12)
