Passage: 2 Samuel 9:1-13

Summary

The King knows exactly where you are. The King remembers your name. The King sees what others overlook. And the King is pursuing you with a grace greater than your failures, greater than your wounds, and greater than your fears. That's the story of Mephibosheth.

  2. Do you spend more time listening to the voice of your past or the voice of the King? Explain.
  3. Why is it often easier to believe that God sees everyone else than to believe He sees us?
  4. How does the story of Mephibosheth challenge the idea that God's love must be earned?
  5. What would it look like for you to leave Lo-Debar and take your seat at the King's table?
