1. Have you ever taken a test that was unfair? Explain.

2. Describe a time in your life where you had to remind yourself of the faithfulness of God. Talk about times in your life where you had to remind yourself of God’s promises and his faithfulness.

3. The offering of the firstborn in the Old Testament symbolized the debt man owed to God. Throughout the Old Testament, God lays claim to our firstborn because it represents our very lives. Think about the sacrifice of Jesus. Describe what his sacrifice means to you personally.

4. Do you understand the gospel? What does the gospel mean to you?

5. Are you fully surrendered in all things to God? If not, why not? What keeps you from a full surrender?
