Our Mission
Children are created to be in a relationship with God. They are created to need God. This life-long journey starts at the time they are born and it begins in the home. It is the mission of the GracePlace Kids Ministry to partner with parents and caregivers in the discipleship of our children. It is our goal to support, encourage, and equip parents and caregiver throughout this journey. We strive to provide a loving, learning, and safe environment for each child to take those first steps in his/her walk with God as they learn about His great love and the sacrificial gift of His Son.
Safety Is Important
All teachers are required to submit to a thorough background check. All kids spaces are sanitized and cleaned. Every child and adult is required to apply hand sanitizer upon entering our Kids space.
Kingdom Kids - Sunday Kids Worship & Bible Class
Sundays, 10:00-11:30am
Kingdom Kids is a kid friendly worship and bible class experience available for kids ages Pre-K through 6th grade during our 10am Worship Service. Kids start off at interactive centers to help immerse them into the bible story, then they participate in a kid friendly worship experience. Finally kids are broken up into grade specific small groups for an interactive bible study. A special 3 year old Bible Class is offered as well during this time with songs, activities, and bible lesson.
Wednesday Kids Bible Experience
Wednesdays, 7-8:30pm
Wednesday nights are an interactive bible experience for elementary age kids. Kids will dive into a bible story that then is connected to a STEM or other interactive activity. For example, one month kids will be studying The Life of Job: Working on our Ups and Downs. Sessions will be on When Things Don't Go My Way, When I Get Mad, When I am Sad, and When I am Scared. The STEM activity will be focused on making different kinds of rollercoasters.
Summer

Sunday Age Groups
Our children are engaged in classes that combine age-appropriate Bible stories with real-life applications of how God loves them and what he wants their lives to be. There are crafts, games, service projects and lots of pieces that make children's class a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.
Nursery
Nursery childcare is available for children six weeks through 36 months during our 10am worship services. Parents and caretakers can check in children at the start of worship and pick children up at the end of worship. The Nursery has a nursing area for moms as well. The Nursery is located downstairs in our main building (520 bldg.) next to our Chapel.
3 Year Olds
In the 3 Year Olds Class, kids will learn through song, games, and play in an exciting and safe environment. We want your child to know that Jesus loves them, and we do to! The 3 Year Olds Class meets in Room 104 in the downstairs hall of the main building (520 bldg.).
PreK-Kindergarten
Our kids will encounter Jesus through Bible study that include storytelling, games, crafts, drama, and more. This class meets in Room 203 upstairs of the main building in our Grace Kids Place.
Elementary
The elementary classes are separated into 1st-3rd grades and 4th-6th grades. The 1st-3rd grade class meets in Room 204 and the 4th-6th grade class meets in Room 205 upstairs of the main building in our Kids Place.
Community and Service
One of the most important gifts God gave His children is the gift of relationship, His relationship with us and our relationship with one another. To love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength is to love others the way God would love them. Our kids seek to be examples of God’s love to one another and to everyone He puts in our lives. All of our Kids Place activities and events should reflect loving each other and serving our neighbors.
