Passage: 2 Corinthians 2 Cor. 12:7-10

Summary

In God's kingdom, the very thing you wish He would remove may become the very thing He uses to reveal the sufficiency of His grace. When you finally come to the end of yourself, you are standing at the very place where the power of Christ is ready to begin.

Sermon Questions
  1. What “thorn” or persistent weakness have you repeatedly asked God to remove, and how might God be using it to deepen your dependence on Him?
  1. How does the belief that your value is measured by strength, success, or self-sufficiency affect the way you relate to God and others?
  1. When God does not change your circumstances, what would it look like to trust that His grace is still sufficient for you?
  1. What weakness, failure, or struggle are you tempted to hide that God may want to use as a testimony of Christ’s power?
  1. What practical step can you take this week to stop pretending, surrender your weakness to Jesus, and show others—not how strong you are—but how faithful He is?
