Summary

John wants to be clear. There are only two fathers. There's God as father and there's the Devil as father. You're either connected to God as father or you're connected to the Devil as your father.

1. What does it mean to you that as a believer you are called a child of God?
2. You can basically tell who your father is by the life you live. How to you react to that statement?
3. Jesus came to destroy idolatry. Why? Because there's nothing on this planet that can satisfy us like he can. We have been made for him. What are the idols that need to be displaced from the throne of your heart?
4. Jesus is saying, "Do you want to be confident? Do you want to know exactly whose hand you're holding? Do you want to look like your Father? Abide.” How do you respond to that statement?
5. What does it look like for you to run back to your real Father?
