Passage: 2 Samuel 7:1-17
Summary
David finds himself in a place we rarely talk about, but most of us know all too well—the dismal nitch of unfulfilled expectations. It’s the place where the thing you wanted most wasn’t sinful, it just wasn’t God’s plan. It’s the place where your intentions were right, but the answer was still no. It’s the place where you did everything you knew to do, and the door still didn’t open.
