Passage: Hebrews 10:19-24

Summary

As we enter the Advent season, we begin where God begins—with hope. Not wishful thinking. Not blind optimism. But the solid, steady confidence that the same God who came once in Bethlehem will come again to make all things new.

Sermon Questions
  1. In what ways do you still sometimes act as if God is distant or unavailable? How has God recently reminded you that He is near, approachable, and welcoming?

  3. Where are you currently tempted to loosen your grip on hope? What Advent promises of Jesus (His coming, His presence, His return) help you hold fast today?
  4. How does the Advent season uniquely stir hope in you?
  5. Which part of this passage most encourages you as you step into the holidays with family pressures, financial stresses, grief, or uncertainty?
