Summary
As we look at Nehemiah 2:11-20 today, let’s be reminded that God is the architect, we are His workers, and even in the face of opposition, His plans will succeed.

  1. Why did Nehemiah take time to inspect the walls before telling anyone his plan? What does this teach us about the importance of wisdom and preparation in doing God’s work?
  2. How did Nehemiah motivate the people to rebuild? What role does casting vision play in inspiring others to take action?
  3. When Nehemiah faced opposition, how did he respond? Why do you think Nehemiah was so confident that God would give them success?
  4. What opposition do we face today when we try to do God’s work? How can Nehemiah’s example encourage us to stand firm?
  5. Is there a “wall” in your life that needs rebuilding—whether spiritual, emotional, or relational? What steps can you take to trust God, plan wisely, and take action like Nehemiah?
