Passage: Nehemiah 7:5-73

Summary
We can work hard to rebuild areas of our lives—our careers, families, and even churches—but if worship and devotion to God aren’t at the center, we’re just building empty structures. True restoration happens when we align our hearts with God and make Him the foundation of everything we do.
Sermon Questions
  1. What do we learn about God’s faithfulness through the list of names and families?
  2. How can we apply the principles of stewardship and leadership found in this passage to our own church or community?
  3. What does this passage teach us about spiritual identity and being part of God’s people?
  4. How can we, like Nehemiah, be faithful in the “small details” of our spiritual walk?
  5. What steps can we take to ensure we are spiritually prepared, just as Nehemiah ensured the city was physically and administratively prepared?
